Most of my favorite Vocaloid songs are still from the late 2010s, but small VocaP's are making a lot of good songs that wouldn't really be a thing in the 2010s.
That said, I think the "Modern Vocaloid sucks!" types are (usually) so fed up with the modern Western community that it taints their view of Modern Vocaloid as a whole.
