Poll time. How would fellow 39chfrends feel if the site was expanded to include other 4/jp/ related topics as originally intended before the rebrand from Nanachan to vsqchan/39chan?.

This would include boards dedicated to Touhou and 07th Expansion (Higurashi, Umineko, etc). We already have an Utaite board.

My only fear is that this could detract from the site's main purpose which is to host Vocaloid discussions. I want >>>/leek/ to be the site's "main" board. So having a completely unrelated board on a Vocaloid site become the top board would be kinda ironic.

Hmmmm, I'm a big fan of Higurashi (and Umineko) but I know I'm biased so while I say yes I'd also say take my vote with a grain of salt I guess!

i'd say yes but i don't know if having dedicated boards for each of those topics is the way to go. i think a general otaku culture board like /jp/ is the way to go, but i get it if the intent is to "filter" out otaku cultures that aren't in the spirit of the board like JAV.

I'd prefer it stay Vocaloid-centric, although off-topic boards dedicated to 2hu or whatever instead of a total rebrand could work. The names 39chan & VSQchan are also way too cute to give up to me. Maybe an all encompassing off-topic board where people can just make generals for whatever series they want to talk about?
