I guess. I don't care for anything Sekai but i'll be watching just for the fact that Miku is in it.

 No.784

i gotta respect the fact that even if they're probably using NT and those godawful Superpack voicebanks they actually tuned the whole thing to sound like speech instead of just getting Saki Fujita & gang to voice the characters like they've done before.

I probably will. I've enjoyed what little I've played of Sekai's story, so I doubt I won't enjoy this too.

 No.800

They should make a miku documentary instead

Watching it in a couple days (not out yet) as a non-sekaifag. Will post my thoughts afterwards.

 No.2684

Sekaifags please explain the plot of Project Sekai to me so i don't feel lost and out of place when i go watch the movie

havent seen the movie but have played sekai a bit
basically miku encourages teenagers to get in touch with their emotions and work through the trauma or whatever they have. kind of acting as a mentor and a therapist

for example, leo/need (the one with the blue long haired girl and the blonde/pink haired chick) has miku help a group of childhood friends reunite after misunderstandings caused them to split apart

every group and character has their own kind of problem and you can pretty much just read the wiki for them. the sekais are worlds for the OCs to just chill out if they need to and talk to miku, they kind of represent all of the members' mental states, memories, and goals i guess

all of this is from memory, i played the game when EN early access launched and not much more so that's all i have to say. read the wiki and you'll be ok, you don't even have to learn about all of the units just pick one with characters that appeal to you and ignore the other ones

Well? How was it?

 No.3143

Movie was good.
Went to the last showing at my theater. I had actually gone to the very first showing but we had to evacuate right at the final song because the fire alarm went off. Someone had turned an emergency valve in the parking lot which set off the alarm.

Was the movie really that fire that they had to pull the fire alarm?

 No.3263

Seeing it in a few days. I know nothing about Sekai nor do i have any interest in it but i hope it's at least fun.

All the dates to watch the movie where i live are dates in which i'm busy and they haven't added more dates. Sorry Miku I've failed you.

Saw, was really great. Lots of good visual, they went for a neat denpa aesthetic it was a lot like Madoka and they also had a lot of good songs. Believe it was a good interpretation of Miku. In it, she was described kind of like a collective of music, with distinct forms in different worlds, but throughout she existed to help people stay connected in a positive way, kind of like Lain.
