For me it's Momocashew/Cassie Wei, one of the most important Oliver producers. She's still active as a musician as the lead singer of Mili but she's been retired from the Vocaloid scene for nearly a decade and also has a child now.

I just remembered that YY was one of the most popular Vocaloid songs that Youtube would throw in my recs before I stopped caring about Vocaloid (that would change years later after i discovered Inabakumori). I decided to look into 23.exe a while back and found out he released an album called CLIPPING GAMING in 2021 and after that he completely vanished without even leaving a trace.

So what happened to this guy? Did he silently retire? busy with life? died?.

Unfortunate if true. He is the only big producer left still making original songs with the English vocaloids instead of succumbing to SV. At least we got that Piko version of Breathe i guess.

Nijisanji is aids so part of me feels a bit bad for him, but i hope he still manages to have a good time as a vtuber.

I miss Kaoling a lot. She really was the master of Vocafolk and now there aren't that many producers who still compose in that genre, let alone any promiment ones.

Time will tell if he keeps making Vocaloid music but Niji EN seems to be his current dayjob. His last work seems to be Electric Weekend Zone which was a Sekai comm and Flavor Foley collab.

People say he's a music making machine tho so I don't think he's leaving the scene anytime soon.

Flavor Foley is a producer circle consisting of three people: JamieP, Vane Lily, and Ricedeity. JamieP and Vane Lily are independent Vocaloid producers in their own right, with Ricedeity being a prominent Vocaloid artist. Flavor Foley is the name they use when the three of them collaborate.
