i likely will be writing more vocaloid songs in the future. I still need to focus on my main music project (virtual idol band using my own characters) but I could see myself messing with it more in the future. I will pioneer Hatsune Miku V2 rock in 2025 wwwww
kaai yuki horror songs are fun to write and i always preferred her for heavier/experimental stuff as opposed to cutesier music. Crushed Mary is my favorite kaai yuki song if you can believe that wwwwwww

my issue is that nowadays it has been very difficult for me to write anything close to deathcore these days; writing riffs for it is not easy lol, i'm an easycore kid at heart

when i initially started writing a lot of the songs off my first album, they were all originally meant to use VOCALOID2 Miku but I didn't understand tuning or mixing vocaloid very well compared to live vocals haha, I suppose I can share what that initially sounded like too:

i just think i am not good enough nor frequent enough as a 'vocaloid producer' to really call myself one nor try to say i'm part of the 'community' when i find i'm just not talented enough to be; i suppose i just feel kinda out of place. i've written tons of original songs and only one has been vocaloid lol, but this could change in the future

I agree. Yuki used be the go-to voicebank for creepy songs in the early 2010's due to how she's voiced by a kid (and kids are fucking scary man). You had people using her in songs about real life tragedies and murder and then you had those who used her for uh… things much worse than Zaako. So up until Inabakumori I think most people knew Yuki from those creepy songs.

Apparenly he's still around but has mostly been mastering and mixing songs for other producers. Mostly vtuber stuff but he mixed two of Nunununununu's songs recently.
