Back when I was in therapy I actually was reading the DSM since it was on the table but I mean. Primarily coz I was with my therapist there so we could use the tools available to her while looking at my symptoms etc (and also I just have a weird fascination with psychology… idk why)
Personally since I have BPD I often used this one in particular https://www.pdfdrive.com/mindfulness-for-borderline-personality-disorder-relieve-your-suffering-using-the-core-skill-of-dialectical-behavior-therapy-e185962974.html (but it's also another…. 200+ page book…. so like…. y'know.)
Based on that one thing is the "Do Something Different Each Day" thing where I'll just. like. walk to the park or go somewhere I haven't in over a year! Recently a cafe opened near me so I walked there today which is different! (I need to do more stuff tho ahaha)
